What to do during freezing periods?

Due to the fact that during frost there is always a huge rush of business in our company, we have set up some house rules in order to have the sale of ice skates, sledges & accessories run as efficiently as possible:
 
It’s freezing, now what?
  • You may park your car in front of  the building with the heading "Wintersport Leerdam B.V." at the Plesmanstraat (nr. 3) in Leerdam. Please make sure your car is not blocking any loading doors and or access to the street. Please see Contact us for a travelling plan.
  • In case you have a SSI entry pass, please bring it along at all times. Subsequently you should be able to produce this to the security upon entry to the building together with a valid proof of identification. In case you send a ‘driver’ he should be able to prove he is picking up goods as per your instructions for instance by producing a recent invoice.
  • Verification with your company may also take place by a telephone. In case you didn’t bring along or don’t have an SSI entry pass, you should be able to identify yourself to the security personnel with a valid ID and a recent copy of your company’s registration with the chamber of commerce.
  • If you’re not able to produce the required identification documents and verifying by telephone also isn’t possible, we will be forced to deny you access to our company. (We strictly apply Our sector restrictions).
  • Upon entry to the building, you can take a blue cart and roll through our warehouse to compile your order. In the corridors you will find several Floor plans which clearly indicate the location of the various items.
  • Due to the rush it will unfortunately not be possible for us to prepare your order(s).
  • When you have prepared your order, you can proceed to the registration desks, where you will need to produce your SSI entry pass and valid ID once more.
  • Our co-workers will register the collected goods. After registration you will receive a packing list for which you will need to sign a copy for receipt. Please make sure you check this packing list because claiming discrepancies after this point will not be possible.
  • At the same time our co-workers will inform you the amount you will need to pay at the cash register. Then proceed to the cash register to make your payment. Please be aware during frost sales only  cash payment will be accepted (PIN, cash, Ideal, credit card).
  • After payment a co-worker (of the security) will check your invoice again against what has been packed on your cart(s), because claiming discrepancies afterwards will not be possible.
  • When you have completed your payment, you may proceed outside to load the goods.
  • We kindly ask you to return the cart(s) inside including any possible empty boxes after you have finished loading.
  • We wish you a safe trip home and of course excellent sales!

Some more info:
  • First of all, perhaps we need to inform you that a price increase of 10% on the catalogue price of all winter-hardware will be applied (all Wintersport Leerdam B.V. products, excluding the textile assortment), unless stated otherwise.
  • Previously made price agreements will no longer be valid effective immediately.
  • Due to the heavy rush during the frost almost all our workers will be busy tending to the visiting customers by registering orders and checking outgoing goods. Because of this we won’t be able to send out goods, customers will have to collect and pickup orders themselves. Answering our e-mails and telephone will take longer than you’re used to, we ask for your understanding.
  • We advise to bring along your mobile phone, in order to stay in contact with your company in case any additional ice skates are needed. Also in case any items are sold out you are able to discuss a possible alternative.
  • Assortment boxes need to remain closed at all time. Also we advise to only pick closed and full boxes in order to assure a quick registration and the assurance that you will taking along the correct quantity.
  • For your and our security, besides security personnel the building is equipped on the inside and outside with cameras to watch over your and our goods.
  • On the whole premises, smoking is prohibited!!
  • During frost our repair department will be closed due to the rush. Your return goods cannot be received during this period. We would however like to point out that it is possible to order spare parts during this period in order for you to fix minor complaints yourself. It also isn’t necessary to send back a full pair of skates when you only need a new innerboot or a buckle or a similar replaceable part.
  • Complaints with regard to nickel or chrome on tubes and blades will not qualify for warranty.
  • Reclamations on orders that have been collected from our C&C warehouse during frost will not qualify for credit. We advise you to check your order before the invoice is issued.

  • During heavy frost please consider the rush at the registration desks.
As a consequence the waiting time can run up to 2-3 hours, We ask your understanding for this extreme situation.
